Vietnam is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia. Vietnam has strategic geographic position and abundant human resources. Currently, Vietnams is in a period of “golden population” with a huge number portion of working age, and the labour costs are equal to only by half comparing to that in China and Thailand. It helps Vietnam draw the attention of foreign investors.

According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment's Foreign Investment Agency, foreign direct investment (FDI) was at an estimation of US$4.58 billion in the first five months of 2013, rose 1.6% from the same period in 2012.

Rapid growth In Vietnam will continue to lift regional and global economic growth. Total export revenue of Vietnam jumped 16.1% year-on-year from January to June 2012, and the industrial production value is projected to grow 5.2% over the same period. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) indicates that the Vietnamese economy would grow at a moderate rate of around 5.2% in 2013 and 2014.
